Professor Nithi continued by saying that during the COVID-19 crisis, when travel was restricted, he found happiness close at hand by painting trees and potted plants around his house. He explained that artists can “embellish” hidden beauty, such as emphasizing the pink hues of young philodendron leaves or rearranging compositions to create something more romantic than reality. Furthermore, he uses lines as a tool to help conserve nature through his paintings.
