TFMAMA's first-quarter profit fell to 886 million baht as sales of its "Mama" instant noodles plummeted by 10%.

Thai President Foods (TFMAMA), owner of the "Mama" brand, reported a first-quarter profit of 886.16 million baht, a decrease of 9.71%. Sales of noodles and instant foods fell by 10% following the end of domestic economic stimulus measures. Exports to Cambodia also decreased.

The net profit margin was 13.07%, lower than the 13.2% recorded in the first quarter of 2025. Sales revenue was 6,379.69 million baht, a decrease of 9.53% compared to the same period last year.

In line with the decline in sales and the decrease in the price of key raw materials, the cost of goods sold to sales revenue ratio for the first quarter of 2026 was 66.54%, lower than the same period of the previous year which was 68.43%.

while Selling and administrative expenses for the first quarter of 2026 amounted to 1,232.55 million baht, an increase of 141.87 million baht or 13.01% compared to the same period last year. The primary reasons stem from adjustments to the fair value of financial assets and provisions for anticipated credit losses.

When compared as a ratio of selling and administrative expenses to sales revenue, the figures for Q1/2569 and Q1/2568 were 19.32% and 15.47%, respectively.
