Examining real estate strategies in the era of high energy prices: aiming for a cumulative installation of EV infrastructure in 2,500 single-family homes this year. Analyzing the EV market insights after the 2026 Motor Show: record-breaking bookings and strong demand for homes with charging systems. Offering cost-saving deals for consumers, including the "RÊVERSHARGER" out-of-home charging service, slashing installation costs by over 50%.

พฤษภาคม 25 2569 Sansiri Public Company Limited (SIRI) announced the expansion of its collaboration with Charge Management Company Limited (SHARGE). To upgrade the electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure in low-rise residential projects, in response to volatile global energy prices and the rapid growth of the EV market in Thailand, the project aims to install systems in a cumulative total of 2,500 single-family home units under the Narasiri, Narinsiri, Setthasiri, and Saransiri brands by 2569.

Through their joint investment in EV infrastructure over the past five years, the two companies have now installed systems in over 40 projects across all home segments, totaling over 2,100 homes. By 2026, they plan to install an additional 400 EV chargers in new single-family home projects. This expanded collaboration will cover consumer usage patterns, both within the home and for transportation outside.

Market insights into electric vehicles after Motor Show 2026: Record-breaking bookings, strong demand for homes with charging systems.

The growth trajectory of the electric vehicle (EV) market is clearly reflected in consumer demand. Overall, the market received a significant boost from the recent Motor Show 2026, which created a new phenomenon in the Thai automotive industry with record-breaking total vehicle bookings and a significant increase in the proportion of EVs from major manufacturers.

Current consumer behavior for electric vehicle (EV) buyers isn't just focused on finding residences with charging stations, but rather on homes with readily available electrical systems from the ground up. This directly impacts their purchasing decisions in the current era of highly volatile traditional energy costs.

“We have seen the trend of energy transition to clean energy for the past 5 years. Today, global geopolitical factors are causing greater volatility in world energy prices, which will further pressure the demand for clean energy, including electric vehicles (EVs),” said Pakpring Karun, Director of Marketing for Low-Rise Projects, Sansiri Public Company Limited.

A cost-saving deal for consumers is launched, allowing users to charge their devices outside the home with “RÊVERSHARGER,” slashing installation costs by over 50%.

In terms of management costs, building a house with pre-installed electrical infrastructure during the construction phase is a significant factor in reducing consumer expenses compared to upgrading the electrical system later, which is often complex and affects the existing structure.

“Having EV infrastructure in place from the outset can significantly reduce the time and complexity of EV charger installation, potentially lowering overall installation costs by over 50% and minimizing the impact on structures and interior finishes,” says Peerapat Sirichantaropas, CEO of Charge Management Co., Ltd. (SHARGE).

Furthermore, the collaboration model has expanded to include managing energy costs outside the home, marking the first time that benefits have been linked between property developers and public charging station providers. The details of the operational guidelines are divided into four main areas:

  • Expanding the foundation system: Accelerate the implementation of EV infrastructure in high-end and mid-range brands (Narasiri, Narinsiri, Setthasiri, Saransiri) to reach the cumulative target of 2,500 units.
  • Pre-installation: EV charger installation will be carried out during the construction phase for participating units, with delivery scheduled for June 30, 2569.
  • Installation pricing strategy: SHARGE is offering special installation rates for charging stations at the lowest cost in the market to all Sansiri residents.
  • Reducing energy costs outside the home: Over 30 housing projects are granting residents a Platinum Tier membership upgrade in the RÊVERSHARGER application, giving them access to the lowest charging rates at public network stations such as BYD showrooms and Bangchak gas stations.

SHARGE's current business model focuses on addressing the needs of electric vehicle users during three main customer journeys: Night (overnight charging at home and condominiums), Day (daytime charging at office buildings and shopping malls), and On-the-go (charging while traveling at gas stations and showrooms).

This collaboration between two leaders in the real estate and EV charging solution markets represents a business adaptation aimed at locking in costs and creating added value for residential properties. This comes at a time when Thailand's electric vehicle market is expanding into the mainstream, and the availability of alternative energy sources has become an indispensable standard in the modern real estate sector.
