Therefore, he instructed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, Supajee Suthamphan, to expedite negotiations with relevant agencies before the current tariffs expire, which is expected to be around July 24th.

The meeting set the direction for negotiations on outstanding issues under the Thailand-U.S. Reciprocal Trade Agreement (ART), instructing all agencies to work together to find solutions and constructive proposals to promote the mutual benefits of both countries, and to expedite the conclusion of the investigation under Section 301 of the U.S. Act.
