The "Thai Help Thai Plus 60/40" spending spree saw over 14.4 million people utilize their benefits in the first two days, totaling over 4.5 billion baht. The government emphasized that the benefits can be used on public transportation and warned merchants against giving change or exchanging cash; violators will have their benefits suspended and the money reclaimed immediately.

As of June 2, 2026, at 11:00 PM, the cumulative spending totaled 4,542.08 million baht. 14,402,305 people have successfully used their vouchers, and 792,045 shops have recorded successful transactions.

Furthermore, there is another public transportation service participating in the project that the public is not very aware of: it can be used on 8 electric train lines, including the MRT Purple Line, MRT Blue Line, MRT Pink Line, MRT Yellow Line, BTS Green Line, BTS Gold Line, and the Red Line, as well as the Airport Rail Link, BMTA buses, Chao Phraya Express Boats, and intercity buses.

Regarding the use of benefits under the Thai Help Thai Plus 60/40 project: The purchase must be of the actual value of the goods and services paid. Merchants are prohibited from giving change or exchanging the item for cash under any circumstances. If any wrongdoing is detected, the store will have its participation in the program suspended and the government subsidy will be revoked.
