Travel Guide! How to use “Thai Helps Thai Plus” on buses, trains, coaches, and boats.

Here's how to use the "Thai Chuay Thai Plus" 60/40 subsidy via the Paotang app for BMTA buses, BTS and MRT trains, intercity buses, and ferries. Check the terms and conditions here.

BMTA buses

1. Open the "Paotang" application and select the G Wallet menu.
2. Click on the banner for the “Thai Helps Thai Plus” project.
3. Press the "Scan QR to redeem" button.
4. You can use your phone to scan the QR code for participating merchants provided by the fare collector on any bus.
5. Enter your 6-digit Paotang PIN to confirm the payment. (The system will save the receipt once the transaction is complete.)

*condition : Valid until the project period ends, June 1st - September 30th, 2026, from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily.

BTS Skytrain and Gold Line

You can use your Thai Help Thai Plus 60/40 benefits to purchase a single journey ticket through the Paotang app. The steps are as follows:

1. Add funds to the Paotang app in the G-Wallet section.
2. Tap the "Thai Helps Thai Plus 60/40" project tab and scan the QR code to redeem your benefits.
3. Scan the QR code provided by the station staff to pay your fare.
4. Press the payment confirmation button and enter your PIN.
5. The transaction is complete. You will receive a confirmation slip from the Paotang app.

*condition : Valid from June 1st to September 30th, 2026, between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM. Maximum usage is 200 baht per person per day. The voucher is non-refundable.

All four MRT lines (Blue, Purple, Yellow, Pink Line)

You can use the "Paotang" application to pay for MRT fares on all four MRT lines operated by the Mass Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA): the Blue Line, the Purple Line, the Yellow Line, and the Pink Line.

*condition : The offer is valid from June 1st to September 30th, 2569, between 06:00 AM and 23:00 PM.

Nakhonchai Air buses

1. Open the Paotang app and select the "Thai Chuay Thai Plus" banner.
2. Scan the QR code to redeem your offer.
3. Scan the QR code on your Nakhonchai Air payment bag.
4. Press the confirm button to confirm the payment.
5. Enter your 6-digit Paotang PIN.
6. Save the receipt. Transaction completed.

*condition

• • You can use your Thai Help Thai Plus benefits at all Nakhonchai Air counters (except Wang Thong, Phu Phan, and Khao Sai branches).
  • This privilege can be used to purchase tickets for any trip and any route (the date of purchase and the date of travel must be the same).
  • You can use your entitlement within the 200 baht per day allowance provided by the government. If the fare exceeds this amount, you must pay the difference in cash or use the balance in the Paotang app.
  • The offer is valid from June 1st to September 30th, 2026 (6:00 AM – 11:00 PM).
  • This can be used in conjunction with Nakhonchai Air membership benefits.
  • This cannot be used in conjunction with the government welfare card program.
  • Cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
  • Tickets cannot be postponed or refunded under any circumstances.

Chao Phraya Express Boat

We accept payment via "Thai Chuey Thai Plus" from June 1st to September 30th, 69. This offer is valid only at designated payment points: Sathorn Pier, ICONSIAM Pier, Si Phraya Pier, Rajini Pier, Phran Nok Pier, Pinklao Pier, Thewet Pier, Rama 7 Pier, Nonthaburi Pier, and Pakkret Pier.

*condition : You cannot use this privilege to pay for fares with the ticket sellers on the ship.
