SME D Bank launches SME Secure+ loan, offering loans up to 50 million baht.

SME D Bank, in line with government and Bank of Thailand policies, launches SME Secure+ loan with a total budget of 1,000 billion baht. The loan considers collateral value alongside cash flow, with interest rates starting at MLR+1.50%, a maximum loan amount of 50 million baht, and a maximum repayment period of 10 years.

9 Jun 2569 Mr. Phichit Mitrawong, Managing Director Small and Medium Enterprise Development Bank of Thailand (SME) or SME D Bank It was revealed that SME D Bank is driving the policies of the government and the Bank of Thailand (BOT) to assist SME entrepreneurs affected by the economic downturn and rising energy prices.

Product Release "SME Secure+ Loan: Increase your assets, boost your liquidity." A budget of 1,000 billion baht has been allocated to assist promising SMEs that have been affected by external factors such as the energy crisis and rising labor costs.

By temporarily relaxing the debt repayment ability assessment guidelines, the value of collateral can be considered in conjunction with the borrower's cash flow. The interest rate starts at MLR +1.50 per year (currently MLR is 7.05% per year). The maximum loan amount per borrower is 50 million baht, with a maximum repayment period of 10 years.

In addition, 500 million baht has been allocated to implement the PSA Plus+ project under... "SME Empowerment Loan" "Beyond Loan: Empowering SMEs" Providing assistance to SME entrepreneurs affected by natural disasters in Songkhla Province in late 2568, as well as from various other abnormal events such as natural disasters, war, economic crises, and energy crises, etc.

Access to funding is available at a special interest rate of only 3% per year, fixed for the first 3 years, with a maximum repayment period of 10 years. This is divided into two parts: assistance for SMEs in areas declared as having a severe disaster management level (Level 4) in Songkhla Province, with a maximum loan amount of 1 million baht per borrower, without collateral; and for SMEs affected by the unusual circumstances, with a maximum loan amount of 5 million baht per borrower.

Furthermore, regulations and orders that are obstacles should be improved, along with relaxing borrower qualifications and collateral requirements to align with the current situation. This will increase opportunities for SME entrepreneurs to access funding quickly and in a timely manner.

Mr. Pichit added that SME D Bank adheres to the principle of "an umbrella that never closes," continuously supporting SME entrepreneurs in all situations. This loan disbursement is a continuation of the financial and development assistance the bank has already provided.
