Standard Chartered Bank announced the appointment of Nitiphong Techavanich as Acting President and Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered (Thailand).

10 June 2569 Standard Chartered Bank announced the appointment of Mr. Nitiphong Techavanich as Acting President and Chief Executive Officer, Head of Client Group Management, Head of Technology and Operations, and Head of Global Affiliate Clients. For Standard Chartered Bank (Thailand) and its representative offices in Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar, this is in addition to his current positions as Head of Technology and Operations (CTOO) and Head of Global Affiliate Clients.

Mr. Nitipong will be responsible for the overall management of the bank in Thailand and its representative offices in Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar. He will continue to work closely with the Corporate and Business Client Relations team to drive leadership and business continuity. A permanent successor will be announced at a later date.

Mr. Nitipong joined the bank in 2556 as Head of Corporate and Institutional Clients and served as Acting Head of Commercial Banking in June 2560. In August 2562, he was appointed Head of Operations and Head of Global Subsidiary Clients, driving the organization with an extensive client network and deep understanding of client needs. Prior to joining Standard Chartered, he gained valuable experience in the industry through his time at international and domestic banks, as well as working in other sectors.
