OpenAI revealed that a group of Chinese-speaking users used ChatGPT to create slogans and cartoons criticizing Trump's trade and technology policies, before publishing them on platform X. Some of the images depicted Trump causing disruption on the world stage, such as using a hammer to smash a wall with the words "Global Future" written on it, or sawing down the ladder he was standing on.

OpenAI also stated that it had tracked another group of users to a Chinese technology company involved in government work, although it did not disclose the company's name. This group is attempting to influence the debate surrounding AI and data center construction in the United States, a key issue as several states begin considering or implementing additional restrictions on data center construction.
