The Ministry of Finance warns 1.3 million holders of the State Welfare Card to quickly confirm their eligibility by June 21st.

The Ministry of Finance revealed that registrations for the "State Welfare Card" have exceeded 11 million, with over 1.3 million still awaiting confirmation of their eligibility. They urged applicants to confirm their eligibility before the June 21st deadline.

23 Jun 2569 The Ministry of Finance has released an update on the registration process for confirming eligibility for the State Welfare Registration Project (Project) in 2569. From June 4th to 11th, 2026, at 11:00 PM, a total of 11,797,120 existing holders of the state welfare card had registered, while 1,376,853 individuals had yet to confirm their eligibility.

Existing holders of the State Welfare Card who have not yet registered to confirm their eligibility are requested to complete the process by June 21, 2026, at 11:00 PM. Please also carefully check the accuracy and completeness of your information before confirming your registration.

For those who have registered and confirmed their eligibility but whose information on their national ID card shows as incorrect, the Committee on Public Welfare for the Grassroots Economy and Society has resolved that those who have correctly entered their national ID number but have made minor errors in other information will have their registration considered complete and do not need to request data corrections or re-register. For those who have registered and confirmed their eligibility with materially incorrect information, the committee will expedite the verification and correction of the data.

The Ministry of Finance will announce the results of the eligibility verification for registered individuals on July 17, 2569, via the project website, the Paotang application, government applications, and registration units at 5 banks.
