KBank has launched an innovative investment product, the “Bonus Structured Note,” which tracks returns against the SETESG sustainability index—a first in Thailand. IRPC has established a sustainability management strategy and is co-investing under this sustainable financial innovation, reflecting the collaboration between the financial and industrial sectors in supporting environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations. This initiative aims to drive financial innovation and elevate the Thai capital market towards sustainable growth.

June 22, 2569 – Ms. Thosaeng Chaiyapravat, Senior Vice President, Accounting and Finance, IRPC Public Company Limited. IRPC stated that the company prioritizes sustainable financial management alongside business operations, incorporating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into investment decisions to ensure long-term stability and growth.

“IRPC is pleased to invest in the Bonus Structured Note under Kasikornbank’s Sustainability Framework, which links returns to the SETESG index reflecting the potential of listed companies operating sustainably. This collaboration marks another important step in developing ESG financial innovations in Thailand and supports the sustainable growth of the Thai capital market.”

Mr. Thiti Tantikulanan, Head of Capital Markets Business, Kasikornbank. It was revealed that, in line with Kasikornbank's commitment to being a leader in sustainability in the ASEAN region and a leader in promoting and developing financial innovations, the bank has previously contributed to sustainability through the creation of new financial innovations related to ESG in the financial market.

This time, the bank has further innovated its financial services by issuing a Bonus Structured Note with a reference variable related to the SETESG index, a first in Thailand. The funds raised will be allocated to the bank's environmental-related projects, under its target of 4-5 billion baht in sustainable loans and investments by 2573, to accelerate the efficient transition to a low-carbon economy. The bank will disclose details of the fund allocation and environmental impact in its annual report.

The Bonus Structured Notes offered in this offering are unique because their returns are tracked against the SETESG index, which reflects the price movements of a group of companies that operate sustainably.

Investors will receive additional returns if the SETESG index rises to a predetermined level. The bank is pleased to be a part of promoting the Thai capital market through the launch of SETESG index-related products, aiming to increase the widespread awareness of the SETESG index.
