GFC drives Climate Action towards the Net Zero goal by 2050.

Genesis Fertility Center Public Company Limited is moving towards becoming a green organization by signing a cooperation agreement with Win Win Supply Company Limited to install a solar rooftop at the GFC Rama 9 International building. This aims to increase the proportion of clean energy used and drive climate action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions towards the Net Zero goal by 2050.

Genesis Fertility Center Public Company Limited GFC is driving its organization towards sustainable growth through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with its clean energy partner, Win Win Supply Co., Ltd., a member of the Energy Service Company (ESCO) program promoted by the Energy Institute for Industry, Federation of Thai Industries, and Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG). This collaboration aims to promote and support the use of clean energy within the organization, aligning with its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) business approach and supporting its goal of achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

Mr. Natee Tangjitsodsai, Chief Executive Officer of Genesis Fertility Center Public Company Limited (GFC). It was stated that this collaboration is part of the “GFC We Green” project, which aims to enhance the organization's environmental management through the implementation of clean energy technology from a solar rooftop power generation system at the GFC Rama 9 International building. This is to increase the proportion of clean energy use, reduce reliance on fossil fuels, and contribute to solving the problem of global warming.

The installed solar rooftop system has a total installed capacity of approximately 121.260 kWp, expected to generate approximately 186,000 kWh of clean electricity per year. This translates to an estimated value of 750,000 baht per year, resulting in cost savings of approximately 150,000 baht per year. Furthermore, it indirectly reduces greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 2) by eliminating the need to use electricity from the grid, representing another crucial mechanism in supporting the transition to a low-carbon society.
