Allianz Ayutthaya launches ULTRA Mastery.

Allianz Ayutthaya Life Insurance organized the “ULTRA Mastery” event, opening up a new perspective on wealth planning through the Wealth Architect concept, which aims to create, protect, and transfer sustainable financial security.
The first-ever “ULTRA Mastery - A Conversation with the Wealth Architect” event was held exclusively for Allianz Ayutthaya’s Ultra-level clients. It featured Annabel Kachanan, a wealth planning expert and owner of the Annabel – Your Wealth Architect Facebook page , and Apicha Thananusak, Associate Director of Product Development at Allianz Ayutthaya Life Insurance Public Company Limited. They explained how Wealth Architecture concepts can be applied to create tangible financial plans. The event was moderated by Supattakit Jetthaveekit, CFA.
Mr. Wirong Pattanakamjorn, Senior Vice President, Life and Health Insurance Agency Management Division, Allianz Ayutthaya Life Insurance Public Company Limited, said, “Allianz Ayutthaya is committed to organizing activities throughout the year to create a space for connection, exchange, and sharing of useful experiences, especially in promoting financial literacy.”
This is a matter of increasing importance to people today. Importantly, the definition of financial management doesn't stop at saving, but must include comprehensive planning for protection, wealth creation, and wealth transfer to future generations. "Life insurance" is one of the key tools that helps create security, manage risk, and support the sustainable transfer of wealth.
Wealth Architect: Designing wealth to be created, protected, and passed on.
During the panel discussion "A Conversation with the Wealth Architect," Annabelle encouraged everyone to look at wealth beyond choosing products, managing portfolios, or chasing returns. She argued that wealth management should begin with the questions, "What kind of life do we want?" and "What do we want to pass on to future generations?" True wealth is not just about money; it comprises four crucial assets: financial capital, human capital, social capital, and time capital. This ensures that wealth leads to a secure, meaningful life and allows time for what truly matters.
“When the goal is not just asset growth, but preserving and transferring wealth across generations, high-net-worth individuals prioritize a long-term perspective, risk protection, asset diversification, and collaboration with experts in legal, tax, investment, and life insurance. Often, wealth isn't lost solely due to poor investment decisions, but also from a lack of preparedness within the family, inadequate management systems, and a failure to communicate about legacy and the roles of future generations early on. Therefore, legacy planning, family charters, and discussions about the future are crucial for sustainable wealth transfer.”
Annabelle compares wealth building to building a house, emphasizing that one shouldn't start with "furniture" like stocks or mutual funds, but rather lay a solid "foundation." This foundation should include emergency funds, risk management, and appropriate life or insurance, before progressing to tax planning, asset management, and family rules.
From this perspective, life insurance is not just an expense, but a tool for creating security and liquidity on days when families need money most, especially when assets like land, gold, or businesses may be of high value but cannot be converted into cash quickly enough.
Extending the Wealth Architecture concept to...
During the “Completing your Wealth Architect with Allianz Ayudhya” session, Apicha Thananusak, Associate Director of Product Development at Allianz Ayudhya Life Insurance Public Company Limited, applied the Wealth Architecture concept to create tangible financial planning. This was demonstrated through the simulation of three client profiles of the same age but with different occupations, goals, and risk tolerance levels. The aim was to illustrate that a good wealth plan shouldn't start with a product, but rather with the individual needs of each client.
For customers seeking financial security, wanting to avoid capital market risks, and aiming to leave a legacy to their family, the suitable product is My Legacy 99/6 with dividends. This product focuses on long-term life protection, short-term premium payments, and helps plan for a systematic legacy transfer.
For clients with investment knowledge, a higher risk tolerance, and a desire for long-term returns, My Style Legacy Ultra Unit Link, a life insurance policy combined with investment that allows them to select funds based on their risk tolerance and financial goals, is a suitable option.
For clients seeking to prepare for retirement or plan for their family while prioritizing principal preservation, My Smart Index 18/8, a dividend-paying policy based on a benchmark index, is a suitable product. It offers the opportunity to receive additional returns beyond the index, and upon policy maturity, the policyholder will receive a payout no less than the total premiums paid, subject to the policy terms.
Beyond planning for estates, investments, or preparing for the future, Apichai emphasized that "health" is another risk that should not be overlooked. Serious illnesses, accidents, or diseases can force long-term financial plans to be depleted prematurely. Therefore, having suitable health insurance, such as First Class Ultra, is a crucial piece of the puzzle in protecting the family's wealth plan and ensuring its continued stability.
