The Treasury Department releases timeline for mobile coin exchange units in July 69: Where can you exchange coins?

The Treasury Department has released a timeline for deploying mobile coin exchange units to provide coin exchange services to the public during July 2569.

From July 1, 2569, the Treasury Department, through its Currency Management Division, will deploy mobile coin exchange units to provide convenient coin exchange services for the public who have coins and wish to exchange them but have not been able to access coin exchange services. This includes all denominations of circulating coins, coins in good condition, and damaged coins such as those that are blackened, cut, hammered, punched, or bent. The service will be available at the following locations within July 2569:

• July 6th- Saraburi Provincial Treasury Office, 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• July 10th– Ang Thong Provincial Hall, 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• July 13th- City Pillar Shrine, Prachinburi Province, 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
• July 14-15 – Phra Pathom Chedi, Nakhon Pathom Province, 09:30 – 14:30.
• July 16th– Nonthaburi Provincial Hall, 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• July 21th– Sala Loi Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, 09:30 - 15:00.
• July 22-23- PTT gas station in front of the City Pillar Shrine, Suphan Buri Province, from 09:30 to 14:30.

Mobile coin exchange units are another way to encourage people who have collected coins to exchange them, thereby increasing circulation. This also provides convenience for those who cannot access coin exchange services in the past. Each person can exchange a maximum of 10,000 baht worth of coins, across all denominations, per day. We kindly request that those using the service clean their coins beforehand and refrain from placing them in individual bags to facilitate faster counting and service.
