Krungthai-AXA Life Insurance continues its Save Our Sea campaign for the fourth year.
Krungthai-AXA Life Insurance Public Company Limited, as a leading environmentally conscious insurance company or Green Insurer, in collaboration with the Laguna Phuket Foundation and the Upper Andaman Sea Marine and Coastal Resources Research Center, continues its policy on Climate Change & Biodiversity through the “Save Our Sea Year 4” project at Angsana Laguna, Phuket.

It was stated that the 4th year of the Save Our Sea project is a long-term collaboration between Krungthai-AXA Life Insurance as a Green Insurer, the Laguna Phuket Foundation, and the Upper Andaman Sea Marine and Coastal Resources Research Center. Last year, the project supported the improvement and maintenance of the sea turtle nursery ponds at the Upper Andaman Sea Marine and Coastal Resources Research Center to nurture sea turtles in Thailand, including the endangered leatherback turtle. This research center is one of only five worldwide capable of nurturing leatherback turtles.
In 2569, the company continued its commitment to the Save Our Sea project, participating in releasing green sea turtle hatchlings and frog sharks back into the sea, collecting beach litter (with the sorted waste being donated to Laguna Phuket Kindergarten to be used as teaching materials on waste types), and collaborating with the Bang Rong community in Phuket to create artificial reefs (fish habitats) as nurseries for various marine life, such as fish and squid, to help restore the balance of the Andaman Sea sustainably.
Furthermore, Krungthai-AXA Life Insurance and its partners share a common goal of caring for the environment and contributing to the restoration of Thailand's marine ecosystems and environment. They also promote and encourage awareness of the conservation and preservation of marine natural resources, a key driving force in addressing marine environmental concerns, including Climate Change & Biodiversity.
