The Bank of Thailand affirms it is closely monitoring the renewed conflict between the United States and Iran, but states it is too early to assess the impact on Thai exports and the economy.

"It is still too early to assess the full impact, as the situation has only just begun 2-3 days ago. The Bank of Thailand continues to closely monitor the situation and is not at a level of alarming concern."

Regarding movements in the Thai baht exchange rate. The Thai baht has depreciated by approximately 5% recently, a movement consistent with regional currencies, some of which have depreciated more than Thailand, while others have depreciated less. The baht's situation is considered moderate, and it remains at a level that can support the export sector.
