The Cabinet acknowledged the "Energy Regulatory Commission Plan" for 2026-2032, outlining four main strategies to enhance energy security, promote market competition, protect stakeholders, and develop the organization.

1) Management that addresses the country's energy needs promotes secure, sufficient, efficient energy services that support the nation's energy development context.

2) Developing contextually relevant energy market regulatory mechanisms to promote fair competition in the energy sector, set prices that reflect true costs, and enhance the efficiency of energy businesses.

3) Establishing collaboration with stakeholders, integrating the work of energy agencies, and ensuring that those affected are treated fairly and comprehensively.

4) Elevate the organization to a leading status: Upgrade the development of management systems, personnel, and organizational culture to meet international standards, be efficient, and be ready to adapt to change.

Ms. Rachada Also said: The plan's development guidelines will include: developing a digital computer system to support efficient procurement of electricity from renewable energy sources; promoting the natural gas business to enter a perfectly competitive market; and promoting the trading of electricity from renewable energy sources in a perfectly competitive market, among others.
