Generali Thailand is a sponsor of the Thai MSME FORUM 2026, a key platform that provides opportunities for the government, financial sector, private sector, and micro and small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) to exchange knowledge, build networks, and prepare Thai entrepreneurs to cope with economic changes and achieve stable and sustainable growth, under the theme "Transforming Policy into Business Opportunities for Thai MSMEs."

At the event, Ms. Chorfah Yuktanan, Chief Marketing and Customer Management Officer of Generali Thailand Group, participated in a panel discussion on the topic of "Mechanisms to Support Thai MSMEs" alongside representatives from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP), and the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Bank of Thailand (SME D Bank). They exchanged views on raising awareness of health and well-being, as well as risk management and building business resilience, in order to prepare entrepreneurs to face challenges and achieve sustainable long-term growth.

Furthermore, Generali Thailand's management team participated in a Dinner Talk to listen to a special lecture and exchange views with representatives from the government, private sector, and network partners who play a role in developing Thailand's MSMEs. On this occasion, the company received an award plaque as an "Organization Driving the Thai MSME Economy in 2026" from the President of the Thai SME Federation, in recognition of its continuous role and commitment to supporting and empowering Thai entrepreneurs.
Another highlight of this year's event was the presentation of projects by the two winning teams of the UNDP-Generali Insurance Innovation Challenge (IIC) Thailand: TruNord Technologies and Clean Technology and Innovation. They presented InsurTech solutions aimed at enhancing the resilience and risk management capabilities of Thai MSMEs.

Generali Thailand believes that strengthening knowledge, access to protection, and enhancing the capacity to cope with and recover from risks are crucial foundations for the sustainable growth of MSMEs and for driving stable long-term economic growth in Thailand. The event was recently held at the Multipurpose Building, Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Defence (Srisaman).
