With a commitment to growth through understanding customers and integrating AI to create insurance plans that meet their needs, Tipaya Insurance Public Company Limited has been awarded the Best Service Provider Non-Life Insurance of the year 2026.

Understanding your customers is the key to success.

Dr. Somporn Suebthawinkul, Managing Director, Dhipaya Insurance Public Company Limited. The statement said that receiving this award is a great honor and source of pride for Tipya Insurance, as it reflects the trust from both customers and society. Thanks are extended to the judging committee for bestowing this award, as well as to all employees and management who contributed to this recognized achievement. However, the award is not the end of success, but serves as a reminder for the organization to continuously improve itself.

“This award is not just a mark of success, but also a driving force for the entire organization to continuously develop and create new standards for the Thai non-life insurance business in terms of service, technology, and product design that meets customer needs in every aspect.”

Dr. Somporn stated that the driving force behind Tipaya Insurance's continuous growth is not price competition, but a genuine understanding of its customers. The company prioritizes customer risk management, providing appropriate advice, and especially after-sales service – the time when customers need insurance most. Tipaya Insurance has demonstrated its ability to quickly support customers during significant events, such as the earthquake and floods in the South, building customer trust and leading to widespread word-of-mouth referrals. This trust is reflected in the company's continued performance, achieving and exceeding sales targets despite intense competition in the insurance industry.

AI is changing the insurance game.

Dr. Somporn stated that another key to growth is the adoption of technology throughout the organization. In the past, most insurance policies were designed using a "one size fits all" concept, meaning a single policy for all customers. However, now technology and AI allow for the design of coverage tailored to each customer group and individual.

In addition to using AI to analyze customer data, the company has invested in completely overhauling its Core Insurance system. This increases operational flexibility, reduces time to market for new products, and fully supports connectivity with modern technologies. At the same time, the company does not view AI as a replacement for people, but rather as a tool to enhance the capabilities of its personnel, enabling them to work more efficiently. The company aims to develop AI skills for all employees.

Meeting the needs of modern consumer behavior.

Dr. Somporn stated that Tipya Insurance's current product development prioritizes a "customer-centric" approach over a one-size-fits-all design. One of the well-received products is TIP Up to Mile car insurance, which allows customers to purchase coverage based on actual mileage. If unused mileage is accumulated after one year, it can be carried over to the following year, or customers can purchase additional coverage if they wish to utilize all the mileage before the policy expires.

In addition, there are DIY personal accident (PA) insurance options that allow customers to customize their coverage, as well as home and SME insurance that includes disaster coverage to address the increased risks from earthquakes and floods.

Including in niche business segments, the company continues to maintain its leadership in cyber insurance for both SMEs and individuals, covering risks from cyber threats and new forms of fraud such as Deepfake, which are causing significant damage to many people.

In the second half of 69, the focus will be on expanding the Personal Line.

Regarding the business direction for the second half of 2569, Dr. Somporn stated that the company will aggressively expand its personal insurance business. While Tipaya Insurance has a strong presence in the Commercial and Industrial Insurance markets, this year the company aims to increase the proportion of motor insurance in its portfolio from no more than 20% to approximately 30%. However, the company will not compete on price, but will instead differentiate itself through the quality of service and the value customers receive (Value for Money).

Another market the company is focusing on is pet insurance, which is growing in line with the increasing popularity of pet ownership among younger generations. The company believes that pet insurance will become a high-potential market in the future. At the same time, Tipaya Insurance continues to maintain its leadership in large-scale project insurance for both the public and private sectors, and will participate in underwriting key investment projects scheduled for the second half of the year, either as the main insurer or as a co-insurer.

This award is not just a mark of achievement, but also a "driving force" for the entire organization to continuously develop and create new standards for the Thai non-life insurance business.
Both in terms of service, technology, and product design, we meet customer needs in every aspect.

Elevating people to the organization of the future.

Dr. Somporn stated that in addition to developing products to meet changing customer behavior, the company also prioritizes upgrading its personnel. This has involved a complete overhaul of its Core Insurance system, necessitating accelerated reskilling and upskilling of employees at all levels to ensure they can fully utilize technology and AI. The company aims for 100% of its employees to undergo training in AI and the new systems, creating an organization truly ready to compete in the digital age.

However, building an organization of the future doesn't just mean having cutting-edge technology. It also requires a workforce ready to learn, adapt, and use technology to create new value for customers. This is a key reason why we view "awards as not the finish line, but the beginning of the next step in development," ensuring that Tipaya Insurance remains an organization that customers trust and continues to grow sustainably in a world where risks are constantly changing.
