Thai General Insurance Association, IMDP Training, Class 30

Dr. Somporn Suebthawilkul, President of the Thai General Insurance Association, presided over the opening ceremony of the 30th Insurance Management Development Program (IMDP) and delivered a special lecture on the topic "Overview and Role of the Insurance Business in the Economy and Society."

We were honored to have Mr. Chuchat Pramoonphol, Secretary-General of the Office of the Insurance Commission (OIC), give a special lecture on the topic of "Directions for Regulating and Promoting the Thai Non-Life Insurance Business." This event was organized by the Insurance Business and Academic Development Committee to enhance the knowledge, skills, and capabilities of executives in the non-life insurance business. It also aimed to strengthen their vision, leadership, and essential knowledge for managing in the digital age, preparing them to become professional executives capable of driving the stable and sustainable growth of the non-life insurance business.

The curriculum covered knowledge in the insurance business, laws and regulations, marketing, finance and investment, sustainability, as well as strategies and digital transformation. A total of 49 participants from member companies of the Office of the Insurance Commission (OIC), insurance brokers, and the media attended the training.
