GC announced interest rates on its 7-year bonds at 2.65% per annum and its 10-year bonds at 3.00% per annum. Priority will be given to existing bondholders of the PTTGC296A series, followed by senior citizens and general investors. The offering is expected to take place between September 14-21, 2569.

PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited ( GC), a global chemical leader and the lead chemical business of the PTT Group, announced the interest rates for two new debenture series: Series 1, with a 7-year maturity and an interest rate of 2.65% per annum, and Series 2, with a 10-year maturity and an interest rate of 3.00% per annum. The debentures will be offered first to holders of existing debentures from series PTTGC296A (offered in 2022), followed by senior citizens and general investors.

The bonds have been rated AA-(tha) by Fitch Ratings (Thailand) Co., Ltd. on July 20, 2026, and are expected to be open for subscription between September 14–21, 2026, through six bond underwriters: Bangkok Bank, Krung Thai Bank, Bank of Ayutthaya, Kasikornbank, Siam Commercial Bank, and CIMB Thai Bank.

In this bond offering, GC provided holders of PTTGC296A bonds with the opportunity to subscribe from the initial phase, allowing them to choose between 7-year and 10-year maturities without any investment limit. GC will redeem these bonds before maturity on September 11, 2569, allowing holders of those bonds to immediately use the proceeds from the redemption to subscribe to the new bond issue.

Following this, the second phase of the offering will prioritize senior citizens, a group that GC has always prioritized, to support them in choosing stable, sustainable investment options with continuous income during retirement. The third phase will then be offered to the general public, providing a wider audience with access to this secure investment opportunity.

Mr. Titipong Chulapornsiridee, Senior Vice President, Finance and Accounting at GC, stated, “GC prioritizes maintaining financial strength and discipline to ensure the company can withstand challenges and move forward steadily towards new growth. This bond issuance is part of our efficient capital and liquidity management plan. The company plans to use the proceeds to replace cash reserves previously used for debt repayment, which will enhance financial flexibility and support our strategies in strengthening the petrochemical business, expanding growth in Specialty and Green & Bio segments, and laying the foundation for future growth to strengthen GC's long-term competitiveness.”

The bond issuance manager stated, “The GC bonds issued and offered for sale this time provide another option for investors seeking to invest in bonds of a high-credit-rated company and a leading company within the PTT Group. Amidst the current economic uncertainty, choosing to invest in companies with strong business fundamentals and high credibility is crucial. GC bonds can meet the needs of investors seeking long-term financial security and planning, offering consistent returns coupled with confidence in the company's potential and strength.”

This bond offering is scheduled in three phases, granting rights to different investor groups in the following order:

  • Phase 1, from September 14–15, 2569, is for holders of PTTGC296A bonds.
  • Phase 2, between September 16–17, 2569, is for senior citizens (individuals aged 60 years and older, or who will turn 60 in 2569, i.e., individuals born on or before December 31, 2509).
  • Phase 3, September 18 and 21, 2569, for individual investors.

The bonds to be offered in three tranches have a minimum subscription value of 100,000 baht, in multiples of 100,000 baht, with no limit on the subscription amount per investor. Subscriptions can be made through the branches and online systems of the bond underwriters.
