BBLAM, together with 5 global investment partners, exchanged economic and investment perspectives through the Global Investment Roundtable 2026, and promoted responsible ESGC investment through the BKIND fund.

On September 9, 2026, Bualuang Asset Management Co., Ltd. (BBLAM) held the BBLAM Global Investment Roundtable 2569 under the theme “Navigating Uncertainty, Unlocking Investment Opportunities & Beyond” with leading global asset management companies. The event aimed to exchange perspectives on the economy, investment, and global financial market trends amidst the ongoing economic, technological, and geopolitical changes that will impact investment direction in the future.

Mr. Bannarong Pichayagorn, CEO of BBLAM, stated that the investment world is currently facing challenges in several dimensions, including global economic trends, interest rates, geopolitical changes, and the development of new technologies, especially artificial intelligence (AI), which is playing an increasingly important role in the business and economic sectors.

In a world where uncertainty is an integral part of the investment environment, having comprehensive information and diverse expert perspectives is crucial. BBLAM organized this event to exchange views with global investment partners and connect insights from key financial markets to Thai investors, helping them understand key factors affecting the economy and financial markets, and enabling them to make informed investment decisions.

This event reflects BBLAM's business approach under the concept of Global Active Multi-Manager Partnership, which emphasizes building long-term partnerships with global investment partners.

BBLAM has maintained long-standing relationships and collaborates with its five partners: Allianz Global Investors, Fidelity International, Franklin Templeton, Pictet Asset Management, and Wellington Management, to jointly offer and develop diverse investment options for Thai investors.

These five investment partners are close allies of BBLAM, with whom we continuously collaborate, exchange knowledge and investment perspectives. BBLAM's mutual funds also invest through selected partner funds, providing investors with diverse asset classes across various regions as investment options.

These include Allianz's B-CHINE-EQ and B-CHINAARMF funds, Fidelity's B-INNOTECH fund, Franklin Templeton's B-GLOB-INFRA fund, PICTET's B-PREMIUM, B-SIP, and B-OPP funds, and Wellington Management's BCARE, B-GLOBAL, and B-ASIATECH funds.

Building upon our ongoing collaboration, this event serves as another important platform for Thai investors to access expert perspectives from our five global partners. We were honored to have representatives from diverse investment roles, including Portfolio Manager, Chief Economist, Global Head of Multi-Asset, Investment Strategist, and Senior Product Specialist, present.

With expertise spanning diverse asset classes and investment regions, they will share insights and experiences from global investment markets to connect global investment concepts with Thai investors.

The event provided an exchange of views on economic and investment trends amidst market volatility and uncertainty. Topics covered included global economic outlook, bond yields, political and geopolitical factors affecting portfolio management, international capital flows, and trends in the Chinese market. While the Chinese economy continues to face pressure, the Chinese stock market continues to rise. Furthermore, discussions included trends in the ASEAN economy and factors that will determine the region's future growth.

Another topic that garnered attention was investment in technology and AI, particularly the long-term return on large-scale investments, and questions about whether the market is entering a bubble or is still in the early stages of an uptrend. This included opportunities for investing in global infrastructure that benefits from AI growth and can help mitigate inflation risks, as well as portfolio management strategies to cope with market volatility.

Based on the exchange of perspectives from experts across the five partners, a consensus was reached on appropriate asset allocation and portfolio management strategies amidst current market conditions. The emphasis is on diversification while simultaneously seeking opportunities arising from changes in the global economy and markets.

The event also reflects the collaboration between BBLAM and Bangkok Bank in connecting global investment partner networks to deliver insightful information, perspectives, and diverse investment options to clients and investors.

In addition, the event included a panel discussion titled "BKIND Fund Social Responsibility in Action: Investing for Yourself While Also Benefiting Society," featuring Mr. Wichien Pongsathorn, Chairman of Premier Group, who shared insights into the roles of the social and capital markets in creating shared value for society and the environment alongside economic development.

The BKIND (Kindhearted Thai People) mutual fund, managed by BBLAM, was established to act as a bridge between the investment sector and the social sector. It operates under an investment policy that prioritizes environmental, social, governance, and anti-corruption (ESGC) factors, and continuously donates 40% of its management fees to support public benefit projects.

To date, the fund has supported 71 projects totaling over 53 million baht, covering education, children and youth, health, environment, career development, people with disabilities, the elderly, community development, and promoting social transparency. Over the past nearly 12 years, the supported projects have benefited more than 18 million people and communities nationwide.

BBLAM believes that the success of long-term investment should not be measured solely by financial returns, but should also include the value it contributes back to society and the country. The BKIND fund is an example of linking investment with creating tangible benefits for society and the environment, reflecting how investment can be a part of creating positive and sustainable change for oneself, society, and the environment simultaneously in the long term.
