September 14, 2026 – Mr. Sara Lamsam, Chief Executive Officer of Muang Thai Life Assurance Public Company Limited, stated that Muang Thai Life Assurance prioritizes building both Healthspan and Wealthspan. Supporting Siriraj x MIT Hacking Medicine for the third consecutive year is part of our commitment to connecting medical knowledge, technology, and collaboration from various sectors to create new options for disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, enabling Thais to live longer and higher quality of life.

The “Siriraj x MIT Hacking Medicine 2026” event, held from October 16–20, 2569, was organized by the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, in collaboration with MIT Hacking Medicine, under the theme “Agentic Healthcare: From Models to Trustworthy Medicine.”

The event comprises a Hackathon competition to develop innovations for cardiovascular diseases and cancer at Siriraj Hospital, followed by a Workshop Day at the Knowledge Exchange Center and a main academic conference at the Grand Center Point Lumpini Hotel. This year, over 1,100 applicants from 35 nationalities worldwide have registered, demonstrating their interest in using AI to develop healthcare and improve the quality of life for the public.

Participants will exchange knowledge with researchers and experts from leading institutions such as MIT, Stanford, Harvard, Tsinghua University, and Peking University, covering medical image analysis, preventive medicine, AI Agent Hospital, and the reliability of large-scale language models in clinical applications, with a focus on patient safety and healthcare equity.

Furthermore, the program offers teams from previous years' Hackathon, who are continuously developing their projects, the opportunity to participate in “Si x MIT BeyondHack” to receive guidance from experts and investors. Selected teams will enter the BeyondHack Accelerator, work with MIT for four weeks, and have the chance to present their work in the final round in Boston, USA, in 2027, with the aim of driving innovation from Thailand into practical healthcare services or businesses.
