Gulf Development Public Company Limited (GULF) officially begins its participation in “Gastech 2026” as a National Consortium Partner today.
This marks the first day of the 54th edition of the world's largest and most influential conference and exhibition on natural gas, LNG, low-carbon technology, power generation systems, and AI for the energy sector. It is being held in Thailand for the first time in 18 years at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bang Na, from September 14–17, 2569.
This year's event featured an official opening ceremony attended by energy leaders and policymakers from around the world, among more than 50,000 participants from over 150 countries.

This first day's participation reinforces GULF's role as a leading energy and infrastructure company in Thailand, under the core concept of "Integrated Infrastructure, Powering Tomorrow," which integrates energy security, accelerated clean energy expansion, and the advancement of digital and AI infrastructure to support the long-term economic growth of Thailand and the region.

Mr. Sarath Ratanavadi, Chief Executive Officer, Gulf Development Public Company Limited
Mr. Sarath Rattanavadee, Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Development Public Company Limited, stated, “Thailand hosting Gastech today is a testament to investor confidence in the country, particularly in the energy sector. Amidst the transition to clean energy, natural gas remains crucial for electricity system security. With the increasing demand for electricity driven by data center expansion, our company wants to see clear government policies on zoning and promoting clean energy to create tangible economic benefits. Recently, GULF invested with Singtel in an underwater cable project, which will help reduce AI data processing costs and enhance Thailand's competitiveness in the region. I believe the Thai economy has a positive outlook due to government stimulus policies that instill confidence in foreign investors. GULF is ready to continue long-term investments in the power business, coupled with expansion into data centers and digital infrastructure, to help drive Thailand's growth and competitiveness at the regional level.”

Throughout the four-day event, GULF showcased the group's capabilities through the GULF Pavilion (booth number C80), occupying over 420 square meters. This included The Ecosystem Showcase, demonstrating the interconnectedness of its four core business groups: energy, resources and natural gas, port and logistics, and digital and telecommunications. It also featured an Immersive Zone with a 360-degree immersive experience, taking visitors on a journey from its solid energy foundation to becoming a driver of the new economy.
Under its three strategic pillars, GULF aims to establish a comprehensive natural gas and LNG infrastructure to ensure base energy security (Anchoring Energy Security), accelerate the expansion of its renewable energy portfolio towards a Net Zero goal (Accelerating Sustainable Power), and further develop digital infrastructure, data centers, and AI to support investment from leading global technology companies (Scaling Infrastructure at the Speed of AI). This aligns with the direction of Gastech 2026, which this year emphasizes the connectivity between energy, electricity, and AI.

GULF cordially invites business partners, media representatives, and those interested in the energy and technology sectors to visit the GULF booth (Stand No. C80) at Gastech 2026, from September 14–17, 2569, at BITEC Bangna.
