The Ministry of Transport announced the toll rate for the Prachimrataya Expressway: 80 baht for vehicles with no more than 4 wheels, effective December 15, 2026. Nine categories of vehicles are exempt from tolls.

On September 14, 2026, the Royal Gazette published the Ministry of Transport's announcement regarding the designation of the Prachimrataya Expressway as a toll road, the types of vehicles subject to or exempt from tolls, and the toll rates, B.E. 2569 (2026).

At its 8th meeting of 2026 on July 14, 2026, the Board of Directors of the Expressway Authority of Thailand considered the terms and conditions of the concession agreement for investment, design, construction, management, service, and maintenance of the Si Ratch – Bangkok Outer Ring Road Expressway project between the contracting company and the Expressway Authority of Thailand (Prachimrataya Expressway), and therefore determined the toll rates for the Prachimrataya Expressway in accordance with Section 19 of the Expressway Authority of Thailand Act B.E. 2550 (2007).

Pursuant to the authority granted by Sections 5 and 39 of the Expressway Authority of Thailand Act, B.E. 2550 (2007), the Minister of Transport hereby issues the following announcement:

This announcement specifies that the Chalerm Mahanakorn and Si Ratch Expressways are toll roads, the types of vehicles subject to or exempt from tolls, and the toll rates themselves.

The types of vehicles subject to tolls are divided into 7 categories: private and public vehicles as defined by the Motor Vehicle Act, with 2 axles and no more than 4 wheels; trucks, light trucks, and light buses with 2 axles and no more than 4 wheels; medium-sized trucks with 2 axles and more than 4 wheels; large trucks with 3 axles; medium-sized buses with 2 axles; large buses with 3 axles; as well as trailers and extra-large vehicles with 3 axles or more.
