The Eastern Command (EEC) has announced a curfew in four border districts of Sa Kaeo province, under the Martial Law Act of 1914, prohibiting citizens from leaving their homes between 7:00 PM and 5:00 AM. This measure is aimed at controlling the area and individuals, and maintaining national security and peace.

The Thai army spokesman affirmed that Thailand is not the aggressor, after Prime Minister Hun Sen accused Thailand of using heavy weapons. He emphasized that Cambodia initiated the encroachment into Thai sovereign territory and violated the ceasefire agreement through its own actions. Thailand has the right to defend itself and retaliate appropriately militarily under international law.

The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) announced reduced train services following a warning about unrest in Sa Kaeo province. Ordinary trains 275/276 and 279/280, specifically between Aranyaprathet and the border crossing, will be cancelled for passenger safety and operational purposes. Services will only extend to Aranyaprathet station.

China urges Thailand and Cambodia to exercise restraint, meet each other halfway, and prevent the situation from escalating further.

The Prime Minister has ordered the best possible care for migrants living at the Thai-Cambodian border shelters. He has prepared a relief budget and instructed the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to communicate clear and unified information about the border situation.

Chaiyachanok ordered the temporary relaxation of signal tower usage in the Thai-Cambodian border area due to the unrest situation. He warned people in the border area to be careful of scammers taking advantage of this opportunity to launch attacks.

Narumon explained that the Thai-Cambodian border remains tense, ordering the closure of 990 schools in six provinces and opening 22 schools as evacuation centers. She thanked teachers and frontline officials for their sacrifices in protecting the country.

The Deputy Minister of Transport has issued a policy statement to the Aeronautical Radio of Thailand (AEROTHAI) to enhance surveillance of the Thai-Cambodian border airspace and emphasized the importance of facilitating military missions.

The government reiterated that Thailand will use fighter jets to intercept the Cambodian attack that initiated the invasion, and will respond in self-defense in accordance with the rules of engagement, proportionately and in accordance with international principles.

The Comptroller General's Department has approved an additional 100 million baht per province for emergency relief funds for the governors of Buriram, Surin, and Sisaket to assist disaster victims in emergencies caused by foreign forces.
